HY-Bridge
Hello we are from Marshfield, Massachusetts. In the 5th grade we have been working on the bridge by staying in from recess ever since we received the letter back in late November. The picture above is our very large bridge. It is a bridge that as you can see holds up little K'NEX cars although they are not shown because the picture has tons of large dictionaries stacked on top of it. We have researched many kinds of bridges so we could build a strong and very creative bridge. We also spent a lot of time researching the type of bridge to make. One of the very important things my team and I discovered was that triangles work best for making bridges because they bend the least of all shapes that was just a tiny bit of our extensive research on this large bridge. Since the center beam took over a thousand pieces alone, it took about 2,500 pieces all together and that alone took most of our time to build. We hope you like our bridge. Thank you.
